British citizens living in France will need to possess a residency permit on January, 1st, 2022

British citizens living in France will not be required to possess a residency permit until 1st January 2022 as a consequence of the sanitary situation. Without this extension, they would have been required to possess one from 1st October 2021.

Moreover, they can no longer apply for this residency permit as the portal was shut down on 1st October after a 3-month extension.
